Our Beginning

Frank was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. He learned to play guitar at as a teen and has been playing ever since. In Colorado Springs, Frank spent several years teaching guitar at a local music academy. In 1998 Frank and his wife moved to Arizona. For the next six years Frank taught guitar on a part-time basis while he held a full-time job.

2004

Six Years Later

By this time, Frank had been teaching guitar in the Phoenix area for several years and decided it was time to make guitar instruction his full-time occupation. Big Rock Music Lessons was officially launched in 2004.

2008
2011

Move to Spanish Village

In 2011, Frank decided it was time to get back to basics and concentrate solely on teaching guitar. Frank also moved his studio into the Spanish Village location in Carefree, Arizona.

2019

Move To Grand Junction

In 2018, Frank decided to return to his Colorado roots. He has set-up his teaching studio in The Redlands area of Grand Junction.

Meet Our Guitar Instructor

Owner / Guitar Instructor

Frank Grossi teaches guitar, bass and ukulele lessons. He has been a guitar teacher for the past 15 years. Frank began teaching at Graner Music in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Frank has been playing the guitar for nearly five decades. He has also taught music at several Montessori Schools. Arizona Music Fest also hired Frank to teach group ukulele lessons.
